An Angelic Sight Double Ringer Tall Bearded Iris

  • One of the Tallest Varieties of Iris
  • Attracts Butterflies and Hummingbirds
  • Large Golden Blooms That Appear to Glow

At a glance, the Double Ringer Tall Bearded Iris (Iris germanica 'Double Ringer') looks like an angel. With its glowing yellows and soft whites, this Iris will bless your garden and warm your heart. With a sweet scent that pollinators love, this iris charms butterflies and hummingbirds as much as gardeners.

Your yard will glow in late spring as the Double Ringer Tall Bearded Iris blooms. This iris isn't just breathtaking, its flowers are massive! Gardeners often remark how impressed they are that its stems are strong enough to hold these 5-inch blooms!

This heavenly sight is made even more dramatic by how tall this iris grows. The Double Ringer is one of the tallest iris varieties you will find! Its blossoms soar above its pleasant green sword-shaped foliage.

We bet you're wondering how this iris earned its name. While it is a ringer when it comes to performance, the Double Ringer Iris shows off with yellow rings around white, perfectly ruffled falls. Its ivory-white standards also feature a hint of yellow around their edges. This lovely iris also glows with purplish haft marks that poke out just below its orange beards.

For best results, plant your Double Ringer in well-drained soil in full or partial sun. It will come back year after year to dazzle your garden and impress your neighbors.

Plant your Double Ringer so the top 1/3 of the rhizome is exposed to the sun. It does best with mounded soil and begins to root after two to three weeks. Water it well for the first year. Once established, it is quite drought-tolerant, so wait for its soil to dry before watering it.

Plant your Double Ringer Tall Bearded Iris as a front border or foundation planting. For a real show, try a mass planting in the center of your yard. This iris is also ideal for cut gardens since it makes any flower arrangement more stunning.

You don't need a halo to own the Double Ringer Tall Bearded Iris. Order yours today and bathe your spring in golds and creamy whites. This glowing beauty won't stay in stock, so order yours now!

Information About Bare Root Iris

Bare root Iris are shipped as nice fresh cut divisions with two to three fans of green tops. Keep in mind each Iris variety can have slightly different sized roots.

When planting, make sure 1/3rd of the rhizome is exposed to sunlight with the roots buried underneath. Note, it's best to cover the rhizome with a thin layer of mulch or leaves to protect it during the coldest months but make sure to uncover in the spring.
