Pink Poodle Coneflower

Out of stock

Echinacea Pink Poodle (Coneflower), Echinacea purpurea 'Pink Poodle', produces a different form than other double pink Echinaceas.

Pink Poodle flaunts its 4” bright pink, fluffy flower heads that look much like zinnias! This vigorous and versatile coneflower thrives in dry conditions and shrugs off cold; does well in full sun or partial shade.

It is a long lasting flower that attracts butterflies and hummingbirds and is great in cut flower arrangements!

The bright, intense pink flowers are supported on strong stems; best if grouped or massed.

This Echinacea will present a season full of zinnia-like flowers and is praised for its prolonged blooming after other perennials have faded.

Divide clumps when they become overcrowded (about every 4 years).

Pink Poodle usually re-blooms without deadheading, but if spent flowers are removed, this procedure will encourage continued beautiful blooms and improve general appearance.

Coneflowers are used as accent plants or in mixed borders, open woodlands, and mass plantings. If you leave the coneflower seed heads on the plant at the end of the season, they will provide winter interest and food for native songbirds.
