Bubble Bubble Tall Bearded Iris

  • Eggplant-Purple Blooms with White Highlights
  • Tall, Strong Stems
  • Excellent for High-Impact Contrast
  • Attracts Pollinators

Are you ready to float away on the striking beauty of the Bubble Bubble Tall Bearded Iris? This deep, romantic Iris offers such dark purple hues, you will quickly become obsessed with it. Its dramatic appearance is enthralling, alluring, and unparalleled.

The dark Bubble Bubble Iris demonstrates the power of a monochromatic look. Its riveting deep purple standards, falls, and beards add to the enchantment of its wondrous and voluminous ruffles. Each layer of this gothic beauty offers a rare look into the satiny depth of near-black elegance. The white veins that highlight its falls also add depth and elegance to these stunning blooms. You'll love how the highlighted falls seem to glow on cool spring evenings.

This mid-late spring bloomer offers edgy flair to your garden after the tulips and daffodils have come and gone. And it's happy to invite an audience of bees and other beneficial pollinators to the show. Its jaw-dropping appearance isn't the only aspect spectators will enjoy. This Iris smells as lovely as it looks.

To keep your Bubble Bubble Iris happy doesn't take much. Most of the work goes into planting it properly in late summer or fall. You'll want to plant it with its roots reaching down and the top of its rhizome exposed about the soil line. Then, cover it with mulch to keep it well-insulated through the winter. When spring arrives remove the mulch and prepare to be impressed.

This dark beauty makes a great perennial border that lures observers in with its shadows and moody coloration. It also adds depth and variation to cottage gardens that need more contrast and excitement. Plant several together for full impact.

The Bubble Bubble Iris eclipses others with its impeccable and specter-like charm. Take a journey into the twilight of unique Iris varieties by ordering your Bubble Bubble now.

Information About Bare Root Iris

Bare root Iris are shipped as nice fresh cut divisions with two to three fans of green tops. Keep in mind each Iris variety can have slightly different sized roots.

When planting, make sure 1/3rd of the rhizome is exposed to sunlight with the roots buried underneath. Note, it's best to cover the rhizome with a thin layer of mulch or leaves to protect it during the coldest months but make sure to uncover in the spring.
