Pantaloons Bellflower

Out of stock

Bellflower Pantaloons, Campanula punctata 'Pantaloons' (PP#13,282), is a real winner with huge 2" light purple flowers that are shaped in a double "hose-n-hose" style.

The exquisite blooms are softly fragrant and are sure to attract hummingbirds. Campanula 'Pantaloons' is a vigorous grower. Fragrant and borne in large clusters, these flowers are show stopping in early summer!

Campanula grows best in fertile soil with a neutral to alkaline pH. Lime can be added to the soil to obtain these conditions. Keep the soil moist but make sure it is well-drained.

This bellflower will grow in either full sun or partial shade, though some shade is recommended in areas with very hot summers.

Cutting the plants back hard after flowering will keep them more compact, and may also result in a second flush of blooms.

* Deer resistant

* Purple flowers

* Long bloom period
