Hardy throughout growing zones 6 through 9, Avondale is more heat tolerant than some other types of Redbud but just as lovely! Bold green heart-shaped leaves arrive with reddish tinges in the spring right after the flowers have finished and adorn your tree all summer.
Redbud Trees foliage turns bright yellow and winter reveals the graceful branching and devils-backbone branching. The way snow sits on the branches all winter paints a beautiful picture!
