Favoring morning sun, easy-care modern Rose bushes do their very best in the full sun, so provide an area with good air circulation in at least 6 hours of direct sunlight per day for the strongest stems and the most blossoms. In the hottest USDA growing zones of this Roses favored zones 5-9, it will appreciate a touch of afternoon shade and partial shade as well. Plant in enriched, highly organic soil that drains very well and has a 3-4 inch thick layer of mulch over the surface. Provide regular moisture and deep watering right up until the ground freezes.

Prune in early spring, just as the new buds start to emerge on the stems. You'll trim at least one-third of its total height each early spring. Cut at a 45-degree angle just above a nice new bud.
