Azaleas are one of the best know, broadleaf evergreen plants. Their stalwart green presence in the landscape holds strong year-round, and they bust out an abundance of spring blooms. What's not to love?
Initially released in the 1990s, Encore Azaleas are among the easiest Azaleas to grow. All Encore varieties bloom in spring and then repeat the display from summer into fall.
Autumn Lily® Encore Azalea produces loads of sizable, 3-inch diameter snowy white blossoms the butterflies and hummingbird will adore! Dazzling further with the addition of those white blooms sporting an occasional, single purple stripe on the alabaster petals.
In the spring, these perfectly shaped plants are covered not just in spring, but summer, and fall as well. Looking great against the bright-green spring leaves. For the remainder of the year, these Azalea remain sturdy, upright, and with deep-green foliage.
The robust and upright evergreen of Autumn Lily® has a deep, lustrous hue that will hold strong all winter, and frost keeps the theme going by tinting the foliage a lovely purple cast.
Your Azalea creates an instant focal point to any landscape and works in any style garden. The strong growth and profuse blooms make Autumn Lily® perfect for providing four seasons of interest.
The pure white, single bloom with an occasional purple stripe, adds drama and luminance to the part-shade garden and pairs with absolutely any other color. The blooms are wonderfully set off against a backdrop of deep-green foliage as Autumn Lily® forms a strong, superior, upright plant.
Try it mixed in with other Encore Azaleas in pink or lavender, rising above smaller shrubs as a standout attention-getter. For a real head-turning display, pair it with the bright reds of Autumn Fire®.
Your Azalea is an amazing accent in landscape borders and formal beds. Autumn Lily® will act as an impressive pair of sentries, flanking your sunny entry to welcome guests. Containers allow you to really set these wonderful plants apart and command attention!
Autumn Lily® looks great in large tubs or planters beside a doorway or your patio, as a beautiful specimen shrub, or when planted in a formal row along a walkway. These also look amazing as a tall accent interspersed among your shorter foundation plants. What lovely exclamation points to highlight your home!
This is one of the most cold-hardy of the Encore Azaleas available, handling harsh winters in its growing zones without coddling. Hardy from growing zones 6 through 10, these Azalea are tough and easy-care when planted correctly.
Be sure to choose a location that will receive 4-6 hours of direct sunlight. Autumn Lily® will benefit from dappled shade in the afternoons when located in hot climates. However, Encore Azaleas will grow in both full sun or part shade. For best flowering and repeat blooms, we recommend at least 4 hours of direct sunlight a day.
Encores prefer organically rich medium and consistently moist, yet well-drained, acidic soil. Avoid wet or soggy soils and provide drainage in those areas. To keep the roots cool and moist, especially in the full sun or in hot growing zones, generously apply a layer of mulch over Autumn Lily® Azaleas roots.
Fertilize Encore Azaleas each spring with a slow-release acidic fertilizer to keep the blooms going strong all season long! Prune to shape only after the first, spring bloom is spent.

This proprietary eCommerce software prevents the shipment of a restricted plant to each state. The Plant Sentry system includes a shipment certification program. The Plant Sentry Compliance Officer works closely with NatureHills.com and each nursery or fulfillment center to ensure only compliant plants are sold to customers.
