The Acadiana™ Red Holly (Ilex hybrid 'Magiana'), is a broad-leaved evergreen shrub with an upright form! Use just one as a foundation plant that will bring you year-round interest. Your Acadiana™ is a Red Holly with ornamental foliage and has a dramatic appearance with its deeply-serrated leaves and glossy shine! The leaves are truly amazing with new growth taking on a reddish hue that transitions to a vibrant, deep green with age.

A wonderful newer hybrid, Acadiana™ Holly has an upright, tight branching habit and pyramidal form and is generally very easy-to-grow, hardy, and relatively trouble-free. Featuring dark red new growth that ages green for the rest of the growing season. Fast-growing Acadiana™ has deeply dissected foliage that has the traditional Holly spines and shine!

The dainty white blossoms are self-pollinating and attract loads of pollinators in the spring and they help pollinate the shrub - leading to gorgeous fall fruit! Persisting into the winter, the red berries are a popular draw for your feathered friends who adore Holly for its winter treat and reliable shelter! You’ll also gain lovely winter ornaments to shine in the winter and accent the evergreen foliage.
