Viburnum - Blue Muffin®

New Cool Blue

The Viburnum Blue Muffin®, 'Viburnum dentatum 'Christom', a Proven Winners selection, is a new viburnum variety.

If you are looking for a special screening plant for your yard for full to part sun, this viburnum will be your best choice!

In early to mid summer, this compact beauty has an abundance of white flowers that make a crisp contrast with the glossy green.  It will grow to 5'-7' but can be pruned to any size.

Preferring well-drained conditions ,Blue Muffin® will adapt well to a variety of soils.

This viburnum is more compact than other Arrowwood viburnum.

It will fit right into your residential landscape as a low hedge or a foundation plant.

The impressive display of rich and intense blue berries inspired the name Blue Muffin.

These fruit appear in late summer and fall, adding interest to the landscape and attracting songbirds.  The foliage turns bright red in autumn.

Fruit set is greatly improved if there is another variety of Arrowwood Viburnum in the area for cross pollination.
