Beautifully Colored Compact Sumac

Tiger Eyes Cutleaf Staghorn Sumac is a deciduous shrub with colorful foliage.  Plant a Tiger Eyes for a dramatic presence in your front yard or in a naturalized area.

Your Tiger Eyes is a beautiful golden-leafed form of Cutleaf Staghorn Sumac.  Its new growth appears as a lively chartreuse green, quickly changing to vibrant yellow.  Both colors contrast beautifully with the rosy-pink leaf stem, presenting a vision in your landscape that’s hard to miss.

The fuzzy branches of your Tiger Eyes tend to angle upward, while the deeply cut leaflets drape downward, giving it an overall oriental appearance.  As magnificent as the summer colors are, the dramatic effect of yellow, orange and intense scarlet in autumn are unparalleled.

Tiger Eyes Cutleaf Staghorn Sumac will grow to 6 feet tall with an equal spread.  It has no significant pest or disease issues.  Tiger Eyes is tolerant of poor soils, even thriving in clay.

It’s a hardy, carefree shrub that provides three-season interest, and when a female, even offers red drupes during the winter months.

Plant a Tiger Eyes today and begin reaping all of the benefits it has to offer!

Yellow Tiger Review by Donald H
I received my potted 'Tiger' within three days of shipment. Since it was shipped from a northern state, I will give it a few weeks of shaded sunlight to avoid shock from the hot sun we have here in the South. I am looking forward to many years of growth and enjoyment.
Healthty plant Review by Kat
I received the sumac tree in good condition, with little leaves on it. After a week, leaves grow bigger, and so far the shrub is doing well. Can't wait for fall, to see all beautiful colors. I planted it on north side of the house, half sun.
Tiger Eye - Sumac Love! Review by Kris Dennison
I just adore my Tiger Eye. Its done so well since day one. We bought our's small but it has grown super fast. I've had it for going on three seasons now. This past fall it didn't turn the typical bright orange that I've seen others do in the fall, not sure if that was just because its young or what? It got bit by the frost this early spring on the tips of the branch's but seems to be doing well where there weren't yet starts. Highly recommended plant. I love it!
Easy to care for, beautiful colors Review by MKWalsh
We planted the Tiger Eyes Sumac on the south side of our house in a spot where other plants had trouble with the dry sunny spot and it has thrived. More than any other shrub or bush in or garden, people stop to ask what it is and rave about it. Easy to care for, a little messy in the fall when it starts dropping leaves but the colors are spectacular all season long.
