Fragrant Tree with Inspiring Display Spring through Summer

People treasure their Magnolias for their magnificent strength, fantastically fragrant blossoms and their incomparable beauty. This tree will provide a pleasing background for shrubs in your yard, particularly needle evergreens.

With its polished evergreen foliage and inescapable perfume, this is one of the most breathtaking native trees for Southern landscapes. It will readily adapt to most soils, moisture fluctuations and light conditions, though it prefers moist, well-drained, acidic soil and plenty of sun.

The Southern Magnolia Tree will provide you with excellent performance without a lot of fuss.  It will readily adapt to most soils, and is tolerant of moisture fluctuations and even a variety of light conditions.

Pest problems are virtually non-existent with this tree, so you won’t have to worry about costly products or spending your time on application.

It should be planted where lowest branches can grow to the ground because it is difficult to grow anything underneath.

Small but nice Review by Renae
I bought the 2 to 3 foot southern magnolia. Arrived in good shape, very impressed with the packaging. I got what I ordered. In the ground & it was just above my yard stick. Not sure how fast they grow but I'm guessing it will be a while before I have the classic large stately southern magnolia..
Doing better with time Review by Picky Patty
I bought my southern magnolia & when it arrived, almost half the leaves had fallen off in the box. I think it got banged up in transit, the box was dinged up a bit. It seems to have recovered & is doing well now.
Back for another one Review by Babs
I'm back to buy another one for the other back corner of my yard. I lost a fair amount of leaves on the Southern Magnolia I bought last year but I asked someone down the street who has a full grown mature magnolia & they say that is normal. It seems to be doing great. Please send me another good one!
Happy Review by Bubba
Mine arrived this spring with flower buds on them. What a great surprise to see those beautiful white flowers blossom the first year. Brings back a lot of memories growing up in Georgia.
Prefers full sun Review by Nic in NC
I have 2. One gets a lot more shade. The one with more sun has grown considerably taller. It also seems the one with more shade doesn't get as many of classic southern magnolia flowers. I'm happy with both. Thanks Nature Hills.
