Olympiad Rose
The Rose, Olympiad Hybrid Tea, 'Rosa sp. 'Olympiad', is one of the best Hybrid Teas because of its rich, velvety, brilliant red color. This superior performer produces an abundance of non-fading, brilliant red blooms on long stems. Its light scent and vigor make it exquisite in bouquets.
The Olympiad begins to bloom in mid-spring and continues through mid-fall. It was an AARS winner in 1984 and Portland Gold Medal winner in 1989. These roses grow into sturdy, upright plants. They bloom continuously or in flushes throughout the growing season.
Hybrid tea roses are the most popular class of roses.
