Dolly Parton Rose
The Hybrid Tea Rose 'Dolly Parton', Rosa sp. 'Dolly Parton', has a strong sweet scent and produces large shapely buds that emerge into provocative dark coppery orange-red full blooms; 40 petals.
This rose is an upright plant, and a vigorous grower with large semi-glossy, medium green leaves; good disease resistance. It blooms in flushes throughout the season, and you can rely upon 'Dolly Parton' to give a colorful and fragrant garden display from spring to the first frost of fall.
Prefers a dry climate. In spring remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third.
