Rose - Brandy™ - Hybrid Tea
The Hybrid Tea Rose' Brandy'™, Rosa sp. 'AROcad', has the richest apricot color yet in roses! It has classic golden-bronze buds that open to light fragrant apricot blooms on bushy plants. The elegant large blooms and rounded outside petal edges make a flower form that is quite exquisite.
The young flowers are very lovely with twenty or more rose petals forming a classic high center. With prolific, continuous blooms, 'Brandy' flowers all summer and into the fall and displays a foliage that is abundant with medium, leathery, green, glossy leaves.
In the spring remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. 'Brandy' benefits from afternoon shading in hot climates.
