
Rose - Westerland - Climbing Rose
The Rose Westerland Climbing rose, 'Rosa sp. 'Korwest', produces bright salmon colored flowers. The double blooms have a ruffled look and the petals a slightly serrated. The Westerland Climbing rose is very fragrant and the they will rebloom all season long. The foliage is very disease resistant.
Prune any dead branches in the spring right after the plant leafs out and do any thinning in late fall. Climbing roses are excellent for trellises, garden walls, fences, gateways and pillars. Climbing roses make a great addition to the landscape.
By training these climbers on a trellis or over an arbor you can change a dull area into a lively, colorful place.
