George Vancouver Rose, Rosa 'George Vancouver' (PP10,009), is an Explorer rose that explodes with an extraordinary number of flowers, borne in clusters of up to six, along rich green foliage with resistance to disease.
The scalloped blooms begin as buds of deep red that open to fuchsia-red then finally soften to pink as the flowers fully unfurl. The fall display of red hips is just as impressive. Own root. A well foliated shrub, the George Vancouver is very hardy and healthy, upright, compact and spreading. It as good disease resistant foliage.
A vigorous climber, it is moderately fragrant and a continuous bloomer.
