Product Review (submitted on October 17, 2007):
When I first moved into my home, I thought the sandcherry that came with it was a small, ugly plumb tree growing amongst my shrubs. (I have a couple of other actual plumbs.) Soon I discovered my mistake, but what to do? The lowest section of it had thin growth, and gradually I pruned away the sporadic branches at the bottom. I now have a lovely, tree-form sandcherry. Other than some chewing by Japanese beetles, it is now a pretty little "tree" that receives admiration from all who visit my garden.
