Crape Myrtle - Violet Filli
The Violet Filli Crape Myrtle (Lagerstroemia indica 'Violet Filli') was introduced by Fleming's Flower Field, and grows to only 1 foot in height and spread.
This small crape myrtle packs a lot of color in a small space. This compact variety is filled with lovely, violet blossoms starting in spring and lasting all summer.
This variety works great when planted in groups, and is ideal for border planting. Other uses for this bright plant would be for mass plantings, as a specimen, as a ground cover, in containers, and for edging.
The Filli has good resistance to deer and rabbits. This plant blooms from mid-July to frost on new wood.
