The plant is vigorous and can be grown as a shrub or tree and kept any height by summer pruning. It is self-fruitful.
Pink Satin Pomegranate can be eaten fresh, used for juice, or as a fruit salad. It is an excellent source of antioxidants. The chilling requirement is 150-200 hours. The fruit ripens in early October.
