I am surprised that no one has commented on this little gem. If you like a rose that has what seems like continual blooms, and lots of them, this is your plant~ Of all of my shrub roses, this stands out because of the many blooms. They last well into fall. I always receive complements and lots of them~

I have 3 of these that receive sun all day. They bloom profusily at first in the spring but then seem to do nothing but grow foiliage. Any insights as to what can be done to get these to bloom all summer? Should they be pruned in a specific way? I had one that bloomed most of the summer and the other two just grew new shoots.

I have several Nearly Wild rose bushes. Half of them are diseased and loose leaves and petals and then I am left with branches. I really do not care to put up with it. Having landscaper replace them with either Carefree Wonder or Knockout Rose. I have 5 Knockouts in my yard and not one is diseased.
