The Anemone 'Lord Lieutenant', ' Anemone coronaria', a fall planted tuber, features beautiful blue flowers. They are loved in gardens and arrangements for their large, richly colored blooms. Anemones grow well in southern climates.
The Lord Lieutenant Anemone will flower for 2 to 3 weeks in the summer. Anemones are great for containers, cut flowers and borders. This plant will attract butterflies. Note: Soak the tuber in tepid water for about 12 hours before planting to promote early sprouting.
