Product Description:

Named a Proven Winner. Very few shrubs display pale-green flowers, which are real garden standouts — if you can find them. This extraordinary new Hydrangea has clean, bright, lime-green blooms that look so cool and inviting the heat of mid- to late summer, a definite garden highlight. The sizable flower heads are well-distributed on the plant, almost as if you placed them deliberately. Into the fall, the they change to a pleasing deep pink. ‘Limelight’ is a vigorous, dependable shrub and a prolific bloomer you can count on year after year. The Limelight Hydrangea doesn’t care about its soil pH and is substantially more drought-tolerant than other hydrangeas. Exquisite as a cut flower, but can be dried very successfully. It can also be grown in containers. Zones 3-9.

Reviewer: sammy1, 8/17/2006 5:55:26 PM
Absolutely beautiful. Exactly what i was looking for. I am doing a wedding in June of 2007 and this is the color the bride wanted. Your the only company that carries this color as I searched the webb.

Love it!

This hydrangea started growing as soon as it hit the soil. It arrived in excellant condition from Nature Hills Nursery. Ive had it for 2 summers, got a few blooms the first year and more this summer. I have experimented to find out what would grow in this sandy Florida soil and the Lime Light has done the best.

Stunning!
Reviewer: FlashPuppy, 2/4/2008 5:50:55 AM
This plant took my breath away...even though the plant I first saw was literally half dead. Of course, I snatched it up and brought it home. In no time she was doing great. I even got blooms for the end of the season. Gorgeous! It has such a strange yet provacative tone to it. I am so glad to know that you carry this. I have looked around and was unable to find even one other. I cant wait to see her start off this summer. I have a feeling "she" cant either. If you have an adventurous spirit this one will wake you up!! Really, really beautiful!

Great Plants!
Reviewer: mckenna717, 1/2/2009 5:31:34 PM
The 6 plants we ordered from Nature Hills were stronger and more sturdy than the 2 we got a local nursery. (Not to mention cheaper!) Beautiful display of flowers the first year. The name "limelight" is a little misleading as the flowers are really white with a tint of green.....compact and beautiful none the less! Ours are planted along the south east side of the house to hide some ugly outdoor wiring. Did a good camouflage job for the first year. Received only morning sun with great blooming results.
