The Tiger Lily 'Yellow Star', L. tigrinum splendens 'Yellow Star', has exciting cream flowers with maroon dots and stamen which makes it very showy. There is nothing like the old fashioned Tiger Lilies for spectacular beauty and hardiness . Now, in addition to the improved orange variety, we can offer you pink, yellow, red and white varieties. Their large, bell shaped, re-curled flowers have wide petals sprinkled with attractive black dots They have a long blooming period and the large size bulbs produce 12-20 flowers per stem. Fine for beds and borders, superior for naturalizing.

Yellow Star is easy to grow, and is at home in nature, or your flower garden. Plant in groups in sun to partial shade. They do not mind crowding, and look their best when in bloom in a large, close together patch. Tiger Lilies require little attention. They prefer moist to wet soils. Once established, they will thrive and grow year after year.
