Product Description:

The Lemon Lace Vine, 'Polygonum', is one of the fastest growing vines. It can climb up to 25’ and has small, creamy white flowers that cluster the golden foliage. The flowers can bloom twice, in late spring and early fall and are very fragrant. ‘Silver Lemon Vine’ should not be planted where it can intermingle with other plants, for it can be extremely invasive. Plant this hardy vine in full sun and in a moist to well drained soil. Growing from 25-35’, ‘Silver Lemon Vine’ is a winner all around.

Lovely flowers, fragrance and BEES
Reviewer: Lucy, 11/6/2007 3:09:16 PM
We planted this vine by the deck to grow up a post where the porch swing hangs. It grew VERY fast. It climbed to the top of the post and the flowers were thick and beautiful, with a wonderful fragrance. In the late summer when the flowers were thickest, the bees were just as thick! Such a sweet fragrance attracted them too. We replanted it away from the house and it died. I will get another but plant it a bit further from the activity area. Its worth having one or more just to see the flowers and smell the lovely fragrance. Great for shade too.
