The Geranium Jolly Bee, 'Pelargonium', a Proven Winners selection, has rich, deep-blue flowers with white eyes that bloom from June till August. With its beautiful dark green foliage, it has a plant width of 12” and a height of 8-12”. ‘Jolly Bee’ needs to be cut back in early summer for repeat bloom time in the fall. ‘Jolly Bee’ Geranium, being drought tolerant, needs a full sun area with some shade in the afternoon.

For best results, plant in a dry to moist area in a well-drained site. The Geranium family is well known for its stunning fall colors that include reds, oranges, and yellows. It is a superb plant for cottage gardens, container growing, borders or informal borders in mass plantings. There is an attaction to bees and butterflies and it is very disease and deer resistant. A great plant for a beginner gardener.

Geranium Jolly Bee is a fantastic plant that blooms all summer long and the bees love it. Dont cut it back in the early summer for fall bloom. Cut it back in mid summer after youve had several months of bloom. Then cut it back and keep it fertilized and it will reward you with more blooms throughout the fall. It looks wonderful with Euphorbia Diamond Frost which is an annual that blooms its head off all summer long.

Ive three Jolly Bees now, all planted 9/07 here in zone 8. Its late 11/07 and theyre still blooming. Were under "level 4" drought restrictions, meaning outdoor water use is prohibited. They get the occasional splash of recycled bath water. And early on they got a few rounds of fertilizer to encourage blooming. They continue to wow.
