The Grandiflora Hydrangea, Hydrangea paniculata, is a common American garden plant and highly valued for its vigor and bloom dependability. Sterile flowers appear in August and remain on the plant until the first hard frost.

The large conical shaped white flower heads turn to pink in the fall with gray-green leaves. Sent to America from Japan in 1861, this continues to be one of the best loved varieties. The blooms can easily be used for drying. 6+ foot height at maturity.

I planted four hydrangea bushes in my front yard about a month ago. I noticed today that two of my bushes are not doing so well. I have three Grandiflora and one nikko blue. I watered them today with some "miracle grow". I hope it helps. Its two of the Grandifloras that are not doing so well. If you have any advice I would greatly appreciate it. Ive never planted these bushes before. My grandmother had a front yard full of the nikko blue ones and I just love them.
