Spinners Geranium, Geranium 'Spinners', displays generous billows of intricately cut foliage and a lasting display of large true-blue flowers. The flowers bloom for many weeks throughout summer. Planted at the base of a large rose or adjacent to an arbor or fence, this delightful gem will weave itself into the upper stratosphere of the garden. Spinners Geranium is a long-flowering hybrid that needs to be pinched rather heavily after flowering to encourage blooming throughout the summer. This geranium appreciates a moist site and can easily be divided in spring or fall. Spinners often has attractive red fall color. Plant in masses for maximum effect. 'Spinners' takes its name from the nursery where it was raised by Peter Chappell in the mid-1980s.
