The Hemerocallis ‘Gentle Shepard’, also known as a Daylily, has a beautiful creamy white flower of 5”. With dark green foliage, this Daylily will reach a height of 12-24” and a plant spread of 24-36”. ‘Gentle Shepard’ will bloom from May through July, with outstanding color and a definite rebloomer. ‘Gentle Shepard’ prefers a full sun area that is well-drained.

Although the blooms will last only for one day, there are many blooms on strong stems that rise above tall grassy foliage, (remove in late fall). ‘Gentle Shepard’ is considered to be pest and deer resistant. Use for cut flowers, massing, edging, in borders or in mixed containers and tubs.

I recieved "Pardon Me"from my husband Last year, he likes phrases, we have'By My Self ' 'Happy Returns','My Ways,'Radient Greetings','Coming Your Way' and 'Bells Appealing' Out of 77 different dayllies. I have not seen it flower yet but expect to see it in the next few weeks! I can't wait, Many of my daylillies are setting buds now! 'Lavender Charm' is a long rebloomer! It is under a purple sand cherry, and sets up early in fact has numerous scapes right now. Can you tell I'm nuts for daylillies? I also am partial to Hostas, with 22. I am the Horticulture chairperson to The Spade And Trowel Garden Club of Andover, Mass. I write a news letter monthly for the club and love the reserch I have to do. I was thrilled to Know that the low bush blueberries will grow in full sun I have many in my woods, I will try to transplant 1 to one of my sunny borders. If it survives I will make a Blueberry bed. Thanks, God Bless You All , Mary K o
