The Dwarf Blue Leaf Arctic Willow, Salix purpurea 'Nana', is a fast grower and it will tolerate wet soil conditions.

This shrub provides quantities of slender, upright stems which makes for a soft looking shrub which waves beautifully in the wind. To keep it looking it's best, provide regular pruning. The blue-green leaves are very attractive on the mounded shape. A fine textured shrub.

This shrub is outstanding! It is very flowing and has nice form and color. I would definitely recommend it. However, I am desperate to see how tall it really gets. The tag said 3-4 feet but so far has grown to about 4 ft x 5 ft. I do not want it to get any bigger!

I purchased my plant when it was about 12 inches tall. That was in the fall of 2005. I just trimmed it last Sunday. It has grown to about 10 feet tall and 12 feet in diameter. It is a great plant for privacy purposes!!
