The Double Daffodil 'Erlicheer', Narcissi double, has white double blossoms with light yellow flecks. Up to 15-20 florets on each stem. Very fragrant and a good forcer. This group includes double petaled and bright-eyed varieties. Excellent for naturalizing, producing abundant blossoms each year. Plant in your perennial garden and enjoy long-lasting low care beauty. Great as cut flowers too. They will continue to flower for years and years. The blossoms last up to 4 weeks and appear in very early spring. They are great for mass plantings, containers, and borders. Prefer well drained soil and full to partial sun.
Once planted, these bulbs can remain in the ground for many years. 'Erlicheer' will multiply and produce the most abundant flowering results in the 2nd and 3rd year. If necessary, very large clumps of bulbs can be lifted as soon as the leaves wither, and then they can be divided and replanted as soon as possible. After flowering, let the leaves yellow before cutting them back. The plants are deer, rabbit, and squirrel resistant.
