Beautiful, delicious and abundant
Reviewer: Christine Walder, 12/23/2011 6:20:32 PM
The dwarf peach tree from the start was producing beautiful buds till it produced the lucious fruit in the 3rd year.Purhased one peach tree it supplied surpisinly over 80 peaches of which only 20 went to full maturity. I did not prune the tree and its the 5th year of growing. I want to prune it this coming spring only wondering at what time of the month to do it also what branches to cut. I'm so perinoid I might kill the tree and I want to have it for years to come. What fruit I did get from the tree was so juicy we ate them all. Its not a firm peach as far as meat of it so I could not can them.Since Im new I may have picked them later then I should have. Please help me since I'm wondering if I might confused the trees (Cresthaven/Alberta) I cant really tell the difference since the peach I grew does not have the charachteristics of either. If you could check the records to see what one I purchased I would be very happy. Since then we purchesed a cherryand apple tree I hope I have the same results with abundance of fruit. To protect the tree from birds and animals we purchased a larger umbrella, removed the material and draped and secured the netting over it.
