Coreopsis 'Gold Nugget' PPAF is an amazing bloomer with over 200 golden flowers. This Coreopsis blooms continuously for 3 to 4 months! Its flowers are an amazing 1.5 inches wide! It thrives in heat and humidity. Forming an upright, midsized mound of bright-green ferny leaves, these golden yellow daisies appear from early summer to late fall, each with a brilliant red eye! 'Gold Nugget' Coreopsis is easy to place, requiring only a sunny spot with average garden soil. It is a very heavy bloomer and cuts well. Give this thread-leaf type a hard shearing to promote rebloom. Blooms June to July with some blooming until fall. Plant 'Gold Nugget' into well-drained, lean, non-clay soils, and mix it with red or orange flowers for an outrageous display of floral fireworks.
