Candytuft 'Tahoe', Iberis sempervirens 'Tahoe', provides a carpet of pure white flower clusters that will add beauty to your perennial garden from mid to late spring with Iberis Tahoe. The compact, well-branched plant has narrow evergreen leaves and blooms about 2 weeks earlier than Iberis 'Snowflake'. 'Tahoe' was introduced by S & G Flowers and grows well in wall crevices and along stone walkways or use it as a ground cover or for edging. Few ground covers rival the flower power of this spring-blooming beauty. Candytuft 'Tahoe' is a very easy and fast growing ground cover for sun that thrives despite heat & humidity. This early blooming variety makes a great carpet of green summer foliage that is the perfect underplanting for drought-proof sedums, reblooming daylilies, and other sun perennials. The Evergreen Candytuft prefers full sun and average garden soil that is well drained. Do no let plants dry out or they will stop blooming. Plant in the spring, 2 to 4 weeks before the last average frost date or in late fall. Candytufts are excellent in pots, containers, rock gardens and as a small scale ground cover.
