The Butterfly Plant A. Incarnata Ice Ballet, 'Asclepias', displays snow white flowers. It is a beacon for butterflies and a low care perennial. Excellent for borders, as tall ground cover or for cut flowers. This plant is one of the most attractive plants for butterfly gardens; as a nectar source. It is also utilized by monarch butterflies for egg-laying. Its beautiful clusters of pink flowers begin blooming in early summer and last well into fall. It prefers to be planted in full sun and needs well drained soil. Use in mass plantings, as a border plant, or as a tall ground cover. Excellent for use in dried flower arrangements.
