Happy Face® should only be grown in full sunlight. It is adaptable to moist or dry locations, as long as they are well-drained and not particular to soil type or pH levels. This plant excels in urban conditions, seldom bothered by deer, pests, and disease. Happy Face® Yellow is an outstanding low-maintenance plant! A touch of fertilizer and some mulch around the plants will give your plants a great start to a colorful summer. For best results, prune about a third of the branches to the ground in late winter. It is best pruned in late winter to control its size and shape.
