Phlox - Candy Stripe

Masses of Candy Stripers

The Phlox ‘Candy Stripe’, Phlox subulata, is an ideal ground cover with masses of tiny white flowers with a pink mid-stripe and a thick mat of semi-evergreen foliage.

Blooming from April to May, it has a plant height of 6” and a spread of 12-18”. It is a definite addition to any perennial garden.

‘Candy Stripe’ needs to be planted in a full sun area in well-drained soil.

Clumps may be divided every 2 to 3 years in early spring.

Prune in the summer after flowering is finished.

Use ‘Candy Stripe’ in rock gardens, as a spread over curbs and short retaining walls, or in difficult edges of dry streambeds or ravines.

Beautiful groundcover Review by Missy
Candy Stripe phlox make a great groundcover. Mine do way better in the full sun than a slightly shaded area.
ohhhhhhhhh baby Review by Mama's favorite gardner.
I have the phylox in my yard and it sets my mood to go shopping for more. I am 70 years old of age. I have 5 lovely children. Their names are mya, magen, anthony, trishelle, and micheal. They all have phylox in their yards and want even more. Man, who ever reads these. You should buy one. Please do.
