Your Lavender Stardust will grow up to 26 inches tall with a 24 inch spread. It has an elegant, mounded habit and is adaptable to many soil types and conditions. Hummingbirds and butterflies love its fragrant flowers, but rabbits tend to pass it by.

Hemerocallis 'Lavender Stardust', is a gorgeous new Designer Daylily with large 5.5" lavender-rose flowers. The petals have heavy substance and are heavily ruffled on the edges! The large greenish yellow throat is very striking and compliments the lavender color well. It blooms mid to late season and is a good rebloomer! 'Lavender Stardust' is considered a "Designer" daylily because it has been selected as a highly performing plant with exceptional bloom performance, substantive, vibrantly colored flowers, complete winter hardiness in northern zones, and a vigorous habit. An absolute must have in any garden! Daylilies are some of the easiest plants to grow and are a good choice for any gardener. They will grow in almost any soil and handle drought to wet soil conditions. Use for stand alone plantings, edging, in borders or in mixed containers and tubs. Planted together in large numbers, they quickly crowd out weeds and make a carefree and colorful ground cover. Daylilies can survive many harsh conditions that other plants cannot including: polluted city environments, slopes, poor and dry soils, near pavement that is salted in winter, and under Black Walnut trees (not affected by juglone).
