St Johnswort - Sunny Boulevard

Bright Buttercups on a Bush

Hypericum (St. John's Wort) Sunny Boulevard, Hypericum Sunny Boulevard™ Hypericum 'Deppe', offers a very long season of color with its bright yellow buttercup-type flowers.

These flowers appear on a densely branched hybrid shrub with willow-like leaves. Sunny Boulevard blooms from July until September with small, but numerous, rich yellow flowers.

Being a versatile shrub, it is widely adaptable but thrives best in moist, well-drained soil and is tolerant of some drought but it will not tolerate any standing water.

Sunny Boulevard can be used as a specimen plant or in groupings, perennial and shrub borders, as cut flower, as a groundcover, and in mixed containers.

Prune to shape after flowering, and in northern gardens this plant should be mulched in the winter. Fertilize in early spring by applying a slow release fertilizer.

Sunny Boulevard is deer resistant and adds a bit of sunshine to that special spot in your garden!
