
Coral Bells - Frosted Violet
The Coral Bells, Frosted Violet PP15085, 'Heuchera 'Frosted Violet', is a vigorous growing plant with purple foliage and darker veining; forms a vigorous but neat clump . Silver hairs cover the top of the leaves which gives it a shiny or frosted appearance!
Its attractive crinkled lobed leaves emerge dark green in spring, turning deep purple in color with unique burgundy undersides, and tinges of silver the rest of the year.
The tiny, pale pink flowers rise above the foliage . Appearing in late spring to early summer on slender, wiry stems, these colorful cuties rise well above the foliage mound up to 30” tall.
The foliage color of 'Frosted Violet' is enhanced and deepens in cool weather for a great early spring and fall show!
Use this plant for mass planting, as a ground cover or grouping or specimen. The ‘Frosted Violet’ can be used in rock gardens, borders and open woodland gardens and as border or edger along paths.
A relatively low maintenance perennial, this coral bell should be cut back in late fall in preparation for winter.
