Bellflower - White Clips
White Cups on Compact Plant
Bellflower White Clips, Campanula carpatica 'White Clips', has upward-facing, huge 3" cup-shaped flowers that bloom in abundance over the mound of dark green foliage.
Campanula 'White Clips' blooms from late spring to late summer, if deadheaded regularly, on 8" compact rounded clumps of bright green foliage. It prefers moist, well drained soil but is adaptable if it has good drainage. Campanula grows best in fertile moist, well drained, soil with a neutral to alkaline pH. Lime can be added to the soil to obtain these conditions.
This bellflower will grow in either full sun or partial shade, though some shade is recommended in areas with very hot summers. Hummingbirds and butterflies love this plant, but deer and rabbits don't.
'White Clips' will enhance your landscape as edging, in decorative containers, trailing over a wall, or along the front of borders. Cutting the plants back hard after flowering will keep them more compact, and may also result in a second flush of blooms.
*Proliferation of Huge White Flowers All Season
*Compact Mounded Plant
*Attracts Butterflies and Hummingbirds, but Deer and Rabbit Resistant
