Beebalm - Cambridge Scarlet

The Cambridge Scarlet Bee Balm, 'Monarda didyma 'Cambridge Scarlet’, is a clump-forming perennial producing bright, vibrant red flowers amid aromatic, lance-shaped foliage in summer; stems are square.


It is ideal for borders where it attracts bees, butterflies and hummingbirds.  The flowers are edible and the leaves can be used to flavor apple jelly and salads.


Dried flowers and leaves are used in potpourris.  


The ‘Cambridge Scarlet’ bee balm flowers over a long period of time-from summer through fall.  It is easy to grow; regularly dead-head its flowers, and it will rebloom in fall.
