The Pembina Plum, Pyrus 'Pembina', is a good dessert plum with yellow flesh, and it is sweet and juicy. The large size, pointed fruit ripens in mid to late August. This fruit has red skin with yellow flesh and is a freestone. Pembina plums are excellent for eating and processing; the finest plum on the prairies for eating fresh!

Needs another variety for pollination. Plant about a month after the first killing frost in the fall or about a month before the last killing frost in the spring. Select a planting site that has good air, drainage, full sunlight and deep, well drained soil.
