All Summer Beauty Hydrangea
Frost-Resistant, Long-Lasting Blooms
All Summer Beauty Hydrangea is a deciduous shrub with outstanding ornamental flowers. Plant several of these for a spectacular hedge, or just one in your front yard for that head-turning, summer accent.
Your All Summer Beauty Hydrangea is a recent cultivar. This big-leaf, mophead variety features giant, 6-inch clusters of gorgeous flowers amid the bright green, serrated foliage.
Unlike some other Hydrangeas, All Summer Beauty provides a long-lasting show of color, starting in early summer and lasting throughout. The fantastic blooms, durable and prolific, persist a long time, gradually fading so you can enjoy a variety of hues as the season progresses. Since your All Summer Beauty blooms on both old and new wood, you’ll also be assured a gorgeous display even if late frosts damage those first spring buds. When fall arrives, your All Summer Beauty will give you one last blast of color when its foliage turns to a lively yellow to brighten your autumn landscape.
All Summer Beauty will grow up to four feet in height with an equal spread. It has a natural, rounded habit that is compact but can easily be pruned to the size or shape you prefer.
It is one of the most winter hardy cultivars of the Bigleaf Hydrangeas, and has no significant insect or disease issues. As with other Hydrangeas, the color of your blooms will be dependent upon your soil conditions. Neutral soil will produce pink/blue shades and acid soils will give you blue flowers.
All Hydrangeas are of course incredibly beautiful, but the All Summer Beauty Hydrangea offers additional features that are sure to be a welcome addition to your yard this summer.
