Eldorado Feather Reed Grass, Calamagrostis brachytricha has an upright growth habit, is low-maintenance, has winter appeal, and adds height and color to the garden with its beautiful blooms.

'Eldorado' will brighten any landscape with its grace, beauty and bright color! The unusual gold variegated foliage has a bright gold center outlined with green!

Eldorado is a cool season grass and it puts on most of its growth in the spring, before very hot weather, and then again in the fall as the weather cools down.

The tan wheat-like seed heads appear in early summer and persist all season and well into the winter. It is an excellent winter interest plant.

This ornamental grass prefers well-drained soil. Provide extra moisture during summer heat and cut back in spring before new growth emerges.
