About 2 years ago I had the opportunity to visit Baileys Nursery in Minnesota. I was walking up the path to the office when I spotted a tall plant, it looked like a small tree with rose blooms all over it. I must have looked quite amazed because an Bailey employee asked if something was wrong. I said nothing was wrong but, what is that plant with the rose blooms on it? That was my introduction to the tree rose named Polar Joy.
The Polar Joy tree rose is a gorgeous plant. The soft pink blossoms appear on the light green foliage which produces a stunning effect. I questioned the Bailey Nursery employee about this plant and where I could get it for my yard. This rose tree is grown on it's own root so it is not grafted which gives this plant a great deal of hardiness. It is hardy in zones 4 through 7. The Polar Joy was developed and introduced by Bailey Nursery so this plant has over 100 years of breeding and plant experience behind it.
That was quite a long answer to your question, but I am still excited about this plant.
