Alaska and Hawaii - It's Not Personal

If you are browsing on the site, you might notice that we are unable to ship plants to Alaska and Hawaii.  People often wonder why we can't.  There is reasoning behind it, and it is not because we have anything against those who are from the United States' forty-ninth and fiftieth states.

Our warehouses are located in Omaha, Nebraska.  This central location makes for easy shipping to most parts of the country, but unfortunately not for Alaska and Hawaii.  The only way to ensure that the plants would arrive in a timely manor for planting would be to overnight the orders.  However, the cost of doing so would be extremely expensive.  It is just not cost effective to send orders to these two states.  Again, it is nothing personal.  It is just too difficult to get plants to these locations.
