Fruit Trees! Get Your Fruit Trees!

It is now 2008, the start of a new year.  Although it is only January, people are starting to look forward to spring and are thinking about what trees to plant.  Fruit trees are always a hot commodity.  We get calls from bakers wanting the freshest ingredients for cooking, fruit lovers, and people just trying to save a little money on groceries by growing their own produce.  No matter the reason, fruit trees are in demand.  But when should you place your order?

Usually our fruit trees are not uprooted and ready to ship until sometime in March.  This all depends on the weather.  That does not mean that you should wait until the spring to place the order.  In fact, you might miss out if you wait too long.  Fruit trees are very popular and there is a limited supply.  We always sell through our inventory, and it happens fast.  Placing your order now will put a reserve on a tree.  This will ensure that you are able to get the type of tree that you want for your garden.

If you are thinking about growing your own apples or cherries (or plum, or peaches, or pears, etc.), you will want act fast.  Don't miss your chance, place your orders now if you are wanting to add a fruit tree to your list of plants for this upcoming season.
