Daylily - Fires of Fuji

The Daylily, Fires of Fuji, Hemerocallis ‘Fires of Fuji’, produces a smashingly beautiful 5" orange-red double flower that blooms in the middle of the daylily season and then reblooms later in the summer. This daylily is relatively trouble free and grows in almost any soil, as long as it is well drained.

The tall flower stalks are held atop a low mound of grassy leaves that remain green in color throughout the season. Being a fairly low maintenance perennial, Fires of Fuji is best cleaned up in early spring before it resumes active growth for the season.

Fires of Fuji daylily will grow to be about 28 inches tall at maturity. Space them 18 to 24 inches apart. This day lily is very adaptable to both dry and moist locations and thrives in full sun to part shade. It makes a great choice for attracting butterflies! Use for stand-alone plantings, edging, in borders or in mixed containers and tubs.
