Rosa Bianca Eggplant Plant
Rosa Bianca means white, with rose or pink. Take one look at Rosa Bianca Eggplant fruits and you will understand the name.
These are Italian heirloom eggplants which are beautiful in the garden and in the kitchen. The color varies from a pale lavender color to a dark purple with streaking.
Our eggplants are grown in 4.5" pots and are planted as single plants. They will do well in containers as well as in the ground and should be allowed approximately 18-24" of spacing.
Plant in the spring, 3 to 4 weeks after the last average frost date. Warmer ground temperature promotes faster growth. If nighttime temperatures drop below 60 degrees, the fruit will not set.
Eggplant prefers rich, deep, loose soils with large amounts of organic material. Provide 1 inch of water a week if it does not rain.
