Year-Round Interest and Outstanding Color

Golden Raindrops Crabapple is a flowering tree with a variety of ornamental features.  Its low canopy would make it an attractive choice for a privacy planting, or use one as a focal point for your yard.

Your Golden Raindrops Crabapple provides ornamental interest year-round.  Spring brings a profusion of petite, white flower clusters with delicate, yellow eyes.

The dark green, lobed leaves develop next, each deeply cut for an attractive, ornamental appearance amid the brown branches.

Those same leaves turn a delightful orange for fall when the pomes also appear, an abundance of tiny, yellow “apples” dangling throughout the tree.  The sunny-hued pomes are an adorable accent for winter and will provide a tasty treat for your feathered friends.

Golden Raindrops Crabapple is a deciduous tree with a graceful, vase shape.  It will grow to 20 feet in height with a 15-foot spread, its slender limbs spreading horizontally from upright branches.

The canopy of Golden Raindrops is rather low, its 3-foot clearance lending it a unique appearance for your landscape.  Many appreciate Golden Raindrops’ fine-textured nature, which makes it an outstanding specimen plant for a yard, even without its unique features.

It has excellent disease resistance to Scab and Cedar Apple Rust, and is not picky about soil type.  It will even thrive in urban environments.

If you enjoy crabapple trees, but want something a little different, then Golden Raindrops is for you.  Spring flowers, fancy foliage and bright, autumn pomes that persist into winter…Golden Raindrops offers a great deal in one hardy tree.  It will even live 40 years or more with little or no care from you.  You can’t go wrong with Golden Raindrops Crabapple!
